Who is eligible to participate in the ceremony?

Students who graduated in Fall 2019, will be graduating in Spring 2020 or be within 6 credit hours of completing in Summer 2020.

Where can I apply for graduation?

You must submit a graduation application to the Admissions Office (A169.) or apply here.

When is the deadline to apply for graduation to participate in the ceremony?

Friday, March 27, 2020

When is the Commencement Ceremony?

Thursday, May 14th, 2020

What time is the commencement ceremony and how long does it last?

The ceremony begins at 11:00 a.m., it lasts approximately 2-3 hours.

Will there be a rehearsal?

No, graduates will receive all the necessary information through email and at the check-in process at the ceremony.

Please make sure your email is up to date with the degree audit office.

Where can I purchase my cap and gown?

The cap and gown will be sold at the El Centro College bookstore.

Do my guests need tickets to attend the ceremony?

Yes. You must submit your RSVP by the deadline to receive tickets for your guests.

What if I have not submitted my paperwork by the deadline?

You will not be eligible to participate in the Commencement Ceremony.
