Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE)

​The TABE provides tests to assess literacy level work skills and English asa Second Language skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. The TABE is an assessment for non-degree and certificate seeking students.

Who should take the test?

  • ESL students
  • Middle College students

Can I arrange a test time?  Yes!

  • See a Continuing Education advisor.
  • Obtain a testing referral form.
  • Schedule a testing time with the Testing Center. 
  • First test is free
  • Test retakes are only permitted by Continuing Education Department.

Walk-ins are welcome, provided there is space.
