Recruiting on Campus - Help Wanted Series:

Employers may visit the El Centro campuses to directly recruit students and graduates. There is no need to wait for the Spring or Fall Career Fair with our Help Wanted Series. Employers may recruit workers in our high traffic Student Center. We provide a table with two chairs and can advertise prior to your visit. All employers requesting assistance with hiring must be an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Requests should be made 1-2 weeks in advance. Download Request Form (Microsoft Excel required to fill in form).
 

Career Fair:

Two career fairs are held each year, one in the Fall and the other in the Spring. Both events are open to the general public, existing students and graduates. Our Fall Career Fair targets participants in need of entry level, part-time or evening employment relative to their program of study. Our Spring Career Fair is held just before graduation and focuses on soon-to-be and post-graduates seeking full-time professional positions.

Note: The number of career fairs may vary.
 

Dates:

The 2018 Spring Career Fair will be held on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 from 10:00am-12:00pm in the Student Center (1st Floor of the B-Building in front of Subway). Set-up begins at 9:00am and doors will be open from 10:00am-12:00pm.
 

Registration:

Registration for this Career Fair is accomplished on a first-come, first-served basis for approved employers. Download a Table Request form (Microsoft Excel required to fill in form) and submit it to eccjobs@dcccd.edu. Registration forms are due by Friday, March 9, 2018. Fully complete the form and e-mail it to eccjobs@dcccd.edu. A confirmation with packet will be sent to approved employers via e-mail. Note: Registration fees support student the El Centro Career Planning Scholarships and/or future career fairs. The $50 non-refundable registration fee may be paid via the DCCCD Foundation. Payment details will be included in the registration packet. Please note that our career fairs are reservedfor employers only. Persons or businesses soliciting customers or vendors to sell a product or service for them may not participate in our career fairs.
 

Setup Information:

Six foot tables with two chairs are provided. Setup begins at 8:00 am on each day of the Career Fair. Tables are assigned by one a first come first served basis. Power connections are not generally available and power cords are not provided. Parking is not provided. Employers may unload at the receiving dock on Elm St. but must move their vehicle off campus immediately.
