What is a Summer Bridge Program?
Summer Bridge programs are academic courses offered during the summer on our college campus to increase student readiness in specific topics relevant to college education. Our specific summer bridge program focuses in mathematics and improving student TSI Math scores. In addition to increasing math skills, the program is an excellent opportunity to spend time on a college campus and learn about college resources. Participants will spend time working with our college faculty, staff, and students in order to increase their college readiness.
Who can apply?
Our Summer Bridge Program is for Dallas County students who are high school juniors and seniors in the spring semester prior to summer bridge (students who will be rising high school seniors and incoming college freshman during the summer bridge program).

The program is located on the El Centro College downtown campus.

What is the cost?
The Summer Bridge program is completely FREE for participants. There is no tuition or fee to be paid to participate in the program.
In addition to free tuition- all participants receive the following:
-A free DART pass for transportation during the program
-A free TSI Math re-take at the completion of the program
