Janeen Johnson began her career as a radiologic technologist more than 19 years ago when she earned associate and bachelor's degrees from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas.
She then began working as a staff technologist at Shawnee Mission Medical Center in Shawnee, Kansas. She was a staff technologist for Olathe Medical Center in Kansas and also a part-time technologist for Providence Saint Margaret Hospital. In 2000, she began teaching at Sanford Brown College in North Kansas City, Missouri, assuming the role of clinical coordinator. She relocated to Texas in 2002 and worked as an allied health instructor for Baylor University Medical Center. She has also worked as a part-time technologist for Baylor McKinney and the Baylor Health Care System.
Previous teaching experience includes serving as the clinical coordinator for the radiology program at Sanford-Brown College in North Kansas City and faculty for the Radiology Allied Health School at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. She has served as president of the North Texas Radiologic Technologist Society and second vice president of the Texas Society of Radiologic Technologists and is an active member in both societies. Janeen serves as the clinical coordinator of the Radiologic Sciences Program, teaching both clinical and didactic courses.
