Ryan Walther began his career as a Radiologic Technologist more than 20 years ago when he graduated from Louisiana State University Medical Center's School of Radiologic Technology in Shreveport. He serves as full-time faculty for Health Professions Readiness and as the college's School of Allied Health and Nursing's learning technology coordinator.
He holds a master's degree in health administration (M.H.A.) from the University of Texas at Arlington and received his bachelor's degree in health care management from the University of Phoenix. He began working for the DCCCD in 2008.
His experience includes working as a computed tomography technologist for Baylor Medical Center in Dallas for 12 years. He has also worked as a radiologic technologist in a variety of settings including trauma radiology, surgery, diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology and invasive cardiology. He taught for Baylor University's School of Radiologic Technology as an adjunct faculty member for two years.
He is certified as a Registered Technologist in Radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists with the designation RT(R), ARRT.
