Physical Education (P.E.) courses at each of the colleges of DCCCD offer a wide range of activities and sports that may include lifetime sports activities, conditioning exercise, basketball, volleyball, weight training, soccer, golf, weight training, self defense, aerobics and walking for fitness, among others.
Also listed within P.E. is Kinesiology (the study of movement of the body), which includes foundations, first aid, sports officiating, coaching, and care and prevention of athletic injuries. P.E. courses are listed under the four-letter rubrics (course prefixes) KINE and PHED.
Taking P.E. classes at El Centro College is an affordable way to get started on a path to a brighter future. Whether you’re taking classes to transfer to a four-year college or university, or for personal enrichment, our P.E. curriculum will give you the foundational skills you need.
