This program prepares people with no previous medical background to work as MRI technologists. The first year of the program consists of general education and health occupations core courses; the second year provides intensive classroom and clinical training.
This certificate is for those who have earned a previous related degree or who hold current health care credentials. Potential students are considered on an individual basis.
Length of time is based on catalog degree plans. Prerequisites may be required, which are not included in this estimate. For most programs, full-time student status is assumed, a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester.
Cost is based on tuition rates for program hours and Dallas County residents. It does not include additional supplies, fees or books. Find out about financial aid.
