El Centro College
Christine Schubert-Logue earned a master’s degree in information technology systems from Tarleton State University and a bachelor’s degree in sociology and criminal justice from the University of South Carolina in Aiken, S.C. She began working at DCCCD in 2001 as an adjunct faculty member and became a full-time faculty member at El Centro College in 2007. Ms. Schubert-Logue has also taught at Tarrant County College-Hurst, Richland College, Collin College-Preston Ridge and North Harris College-Tomball.
Related professional experience includes seven years of supervisory experience in information technology at the Country Store; a year as an independent contractor for Books are Fun; six years as an instructional associate in Computer Information Technology at El Centro College; and 11 years in supervision, training and record-keeping as a sergeant for Aiken Public Safety in Aiken, S.C. At Tarrant County College, she was a senior grant staff member for the National Science Foundation Convergence Technology Grant. Ms. Schubert-Logue has been a guest speaker at conferences across the United States.
She holds credentials and certifications as a Cisco Certified Academy Instructor (CCAI) and Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA). Ms. Schubert-Logue has completed all Cisco Instructor-level training required to teach Cisco Networking Academy courses in CCNA, CCNA Security and IT Essentials.
Awards and honors include a NISOD award for Excellence in Teaching, Excellence in Teaching Award for Adjunct Faculty for El Centro’s Information Technology Programs Systems and Support Division, and El Centro College Excellence in Teaching Award for Adjunct Faculty. Ms. Schubert-Logue was a member of the Epsilon Delta Pi Honor Society in computer science and Delta Mu Delta International Honor Society in business administration at Tarleton State University.
