Art Gallery

Mission Statement

The H. Paxton Moore Fine Art Gallery seeks to showcase local, regional and national artists working in a variety of media as well as host exhibits traveling nationally. Exhibitions will enhance the education and experience of the students, faculty, staff and community at large. Lectures, workshops, and other events will accompany each exhibit to engage the public in the understanding of art.

The H. Paxton Moore Fine Art Gallery at El Centro College announces its annual student art exhibition. Each spring, this juried competition showcases work from our studio art classes here at El Centro College. The exhibit will feature art in the categories of Painting/Watercolor, Drawing, Mixed Media, Digital Imaging, Photography, Printmaking, Sculpture, and Fibers.

This year’s judges are Jessica Trevizo and Mylan Ngyen, both of whom are artists and curators from the DFW area.
