Election Day: Are You Registered?

Did you know the next Election Day is Saturday, May 4, 2019? Before you vote, you need to make sure you're registered to vote. The deadline to register for the May election is April 4, 2019.

If you live in Dallas County, you can visit the Voter Lookup page and insert your name and birthday. The system will tell you you whether you're registered, the address at which you are registered and your polling location on Election Day, May 19. 

Things to look for on your vote eligibility:

  • Ensure your status is listed as 'active.'
  • If not, you will need to submit a new voter application by the April 4 deadline. You can download, print, fill out the application.
  • Finally, submit the application via fax, put it in the mail (postmarked by April 4) or deliver it in person.
    • For Dallas County, return the application to the Dallas County Voter Registration Department through one of the following:
