TexPREP

History and Results

TexPREP was founded in 1979 by mathematics professor Dr. Manuel P. Berriozabal, at the University of Texas at San Antonio.  Replication of the program began in 1986. Since 1997, with a grant from NASA, TexPREP has continued its replication in Hispanic-serving institutions nationwide.

Application Requirements

We will begin accepting applications on March 17, 2014; the deadline for all application materials to be submitted to the TexPREP site to which you apply is May 30, 2014, or until the capacity of 50 students are accepted.

Once the TexPREP office has received your application and all supporting documents and if you meet the requirements above, you will receive a confirmation email from the TexPREP office.
