Welcome to the FTLC!

This is the place where ECC faculty and staff members receive training and support in technology (software, hardware) and pedagogy.

Our lab features computers, software, microphones, printers, a scanner, teleconferencing hardware, and other equipment that will be useful in supporting your teaching at El Centro College.

We offer scheduled daytime, weekend, and evening training sessions, one-on-one support, and open lab hours. The facilities are also available for faculty meetings, teleconferencing, and other faculty events.

El Centro’s Marketing & Communications Office works with  staff, students and the community. Our office initiates all campus marketing, advertising, Internet, internal/external communication, press releases, media relations and support for community.

We offer numerous services to employees, as seen on the list to the right.

About WebDesk

Prior to June 2012, web update requests at El Centro were primarily made via email, or interoffice mail. This old fashioned method of submitting web changes had many disadvantages, primarily relating to tracking and prioritizing requests. WebDesk is an online web request ticket system that was custom built to solve these issues.
