Academic Advisement

The mission of El Centro College Academic Advisement is to create meaningful advisor/student relationships that enable students to develop and achieve their educational and career goals.

On-line Registration is now available to current and former students who meet the following criteria:

Good academic standing
No active blocks
E-mail address on file with Admissions
Complete in all sections (reading, writing & math) of TSI; or TSI exempt or waived

On-line self-registration may be accessed at eConnect. Students are encouraged to meet with an academic advisor to discuss their educational and career goals.

The Academic Advisement Center offers the following services:

Drop-in assistance with academic advising and registration
TSI (Texas Success Initiative) information and assistance
New student orientation
Pre-assessment orientation, information and testing authorization
Transfer information and assistance
Career advising, assessment and exploration
On-line advising at eccadvising@dcccd.edu
eConnect navigation assistance (student online records and self-registration access)

Hours of Operation:

8:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Monday – Thursday
8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Friday (excluding holidays)
