Students on Probation, Suspension, Dismissal and Indefinite Dismissal must meet the petition and registration deadline date: July 3rd for Summer II & August 16th for Fall.
Whether your goal is to transfer to a university or obtain the skills that you need to enter the workforce directly from El Centro, academic advisors are trained and ready to help your build a plan for accomplishing your educational goals. The academic advisors and counselors will:
Review placement scores and determine course placement
Guide students in understanding degree and prerequisite requirements for their selected program of study
Provide information as it relates to academic policies, procedures, and regulations
Refer students to other campus resources to help them succeed in the classroom
Help students complete official degree plan paperwork and apply for graduation
We believe that students are responsible for making their own decisions about career and academic goals and want students to know that the Academic Advising Staff is here to support you along the way.
Summer and Fall Registration Information:
Summer II Registration is Still Open - Classes Start July 9th
Fall Registration is Now Open - Classes Start August 25th (August 20th is the Registration Deadline)
*** All new students need to submit their transcripts to Admissions (A158) and meet with an academic advisor in the Advising Center (A110) to determine if they need to complete assessment testing and attend New Student Orientation before registering for classes.
On-line self-registration may be accessed through eConnect. Students are encouraged to meet with an academic advisor to discuss their educational and career goals.
