On Friday, August 26, offices will be closed so all DCCCD employees may participate in the district's annual Conference Day.



TexPREP is intended for students entering grades 7-9 at the completion of the summer program.

Year 1 requirements includes:

  • Parental Permission
  • 7th grade students: 90% average in current mathematics class, and Science or English*
  • 8th & 9th grade students: 85% average in current mathematics class plus Science or English*
  • Recommendation from a math teacher and a counselor, science or English teacher
  • Satisfactory conduct grades
  • A short essay on why you want to participate in the program

Year 2 requirements includes:

  • Successful completion of Year 1 TexPREP at an approved site
  • Meeting other eligibility requirements listed under Year 1
