Welcome to The Interior Design Program at El Centro College

The mission of the department’s faculty and administration for the diverse student body is to provide a positive atmosphere where students are equally challenged to reach excellence in design and prepare to apply their learning for the benefit of the health, safety and welfare of the community.

Helpful Hints for Student Success

  • Take FOUNDATION COURSES first
  • Follow the sequence listed below for the best outcome (see degree plan for Core and Electives)
  • AAS Program is a total of 72 hours
  • ATC is a total of 27 hours
  • Stay on El Centro Campus for all your classes
  • Get involved in student clubs, ASID and IIDA
  • Talk with your employer about your commitment to school
  • Ask for help from teachers, advisors, and fellow students
