Lynn Schluns, B.S., RVT, RDMS

El Centro College


Lynn Schluns has a long association with El Centro College. She received an Associate Degree in Applied Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) in Diagnostic Medical Sonography in 1997. She has worked as a staff sonographer at a DFW Hospital since graduating. She became a Clinical Instructor for El Centro College in 2003 specializing in Vascular Technology education. She began teaching didactic courses in 2011 and became the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program Coordinator in January 2014.

Professor Schluns is on the CME Review Task Force for the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (SDMS) and is a member of AIUM (American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine) and SVU (Society for Vascular Ultrasound).

Professor Schluns is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) in both Abdomen and OB/GYN as well Vascular Technology (RVT). She earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Marketing from Wayne State College, Wayne, NE in 1984.
 


Pamela Crawford, A.A.S., RVT, RDMS, RT(R)

El Centro College

Pamela Crawford, the Clinical Coordinator for the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program since 2004, earned an Associate Degree in Applied Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) in Diagnostic Medical Sonography from El Centro College in 1986. She has a long history in the imaging sciences including working in radiography, mammography and the cardiac cath lab; managing a large hospital’s Ultrasound Department for 10 years; and working as an Ultrasound Application Specialist.

Professor Crawford has served on the finance committee of the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (SDMS) and is past president of the North Texas Ultrasound Society.

Professor Crawford is a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) and a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with specialty credentials in Abdominal, OB/GYN, Breast and Neurosonography. She is also a registered Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
