Continuing Education office Welcome to El Centro College and the Continuing/Workforce Education department.

We offer a wide range of training opportunities. Programs, courses and recertification classes are offered on an ongoing basis. Areas of training expertise include Food Service, Health Careers such as Medication Aide, CPR, Phlebotomy, and English as a Second Language. In addition there are programs in Correctional Officer Training, Magnetic Resonance Imaging and refresher courses for RN's and LVN's. We have expanded our Arts, Personal Interest, and Professional Development areas with an array of exciting new classes.

Continuing/Workforce Education also works closely with the credit side of the college to offer concurrent coursework. This allows students to enroll through Continuing Education into credit coursework and take the course for Continuing Education Units (CEU's) while the rest of the class receives college credit.

In the Workforce Education area, basic workforce skills are taught including GED, Internet and Computer core skills and applications, and professional development. Coursework in Spanish is also offered in computers and GED preparation. Customized training for corporations is offered through the Business Solutions office.

Thank you for your interest in Continuing/Workforce Education at El Centro College. We hope that the offerings we have will assist you in "Imagining the Possibilities" for your future.

Sincerely,

Sondra Flemming
Vice President for Community and Economic Development
