The H. Paxton Moore Fine Art Gallery at El Centro College presents our annual exhibition of student work from our advanced studio courses. 44 artworks from 30 student artists will be presented in media including drawing, painting, design, figure drawing and installation. Work from the studio courses of faculty members Omar Hernandez, Rosemary Meza-DesPlas, Chaitra Linehan, Adam Palmer, and Carlos Donjuan will be featured.

A reception and gallery talk will take place on Thursday November 15th from 4-6 pm.

A gallery talk / awards ceremony will be presented at the reception, including purchase awards and the Edward M. DesPlas CCBO International Outstanding Chief Business Officer Scholarship. As one of the requirements for the exhibition, each student artist was asked to compose an artist statement and resume. For most of them, this is their first experience at exhibiting in a professional gallery.

PURCHASE AWARDS:
The El Centro College Aesthetics Committee purchases art work from student shows. These art works then become part of the Permanent Collection of El Centro College. This collection of both student and professional art works is displayed throughout the various buildings and campuses of El Centro College.
