Connectors
Connectors are used in keyword searches:
Linking Together Keywords with Boolean operators:
AND narrows a search:
You get fewer results, because all the keywords must be present in the items found.
The blue area in the diagram shows the resulting records that will display.
OR broadens a search:
You get more items because OR find items about each of the keywords separately, plus when all the keywords are found together. OR links together related keywords.

NOT eliminates a keyword from a search:
You get results that include all the keywords but exclude a segment of the results that contain the related keyword.
