Journals
Journal articles are written by scholars in an academic or professional field. An editorial board reviews articles to decide whether they should be published. Journal articles cover very specific topics or narrow fields of research.
Authors of journal articles include the sources they used in writing the article to document or prove their research.
Since journals are published at periodic intervals, they are grouped in the category called "periodicals."
Module 4 will show you how to locate journal articles from our online databases.
