Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Modules Lean 101: Overview (4 hours) This module gives an overview of what LEAN can do for business. You’ll also get a short history of the development of LEAN tools, LEAN philosophy and how LEAN is used in the transformation of business. Lean 102: Getting to the Root of the Problem (8 hours) (Mistake Proofing/Problem Solving) In this highly interactive module, you will learn problem solving methods that work. Plan, Do, Check, Analyze (PDCA) will come alive as a workable tool. Included in the module will be tools to mistake proof your processes. Lean 103: Focus on the Process (8 hours) (Process Mapping) This module teaches how work processes will make or break you. You’ll be able to map processes and identify work flow and gaps in the process. Tools will be shared that will help you overcome gaps in the process and create better flow of information, products, processes. Lean 104: Doing it Right, Doing it Right Now (8 hours) (Standard Work/Kanban/Pull) This module teaches tools to organize your work processes to improve work flow and how to balance customer demand with production. These methods help the work system to be sustainable and efficient. Lean 105: Show Me: Make It Real, Make It Visual (8 hours) (5S/Visual Workplace) This module teaches how to transform your workplace through the use of Visual Workplace and 5S tools. Lean 106: From Waste to Value (8 hours) (Value Stream Mapping) This module teaches how to know what your customers really want and not just what you think they want. Also you will learn how to create value for your customers and eliminate wasteful practices and interruptions while balancing workloads. Lean 107: Balanced Scorecard (8 hours) This module teaches the balanced scorecard methodology and helps you define the top measures needed to understand operational performance in key areas for focus action. The balanced scorecard is a strategic planning and management system that helps an organization measure what matters most, focus on drivers of future performance, and identify priorities. (Optional) Lean 108: Kaizan Event (24 hours) This optional module will engage a team of process owners and operators in improvements to an existing process. The process is mapped using a deployment flowchart and improvements are identified with process redesign for more effectiveness and higher performance. |
