The Title III Grant's comprehensive activity addresses institutional
problems and weknesses by integrating technology into instruction.
- Strengthen the effectiveness of assessment and placement of entering
students via the implemetation of computerized diagnostic testing.
- Fully integrate technology into the curricula for developmental studies,
transfer, and gateway courses to provide enhanced student access to
that technology. The curricula includes: developmental studies; mathematics;
English; science; and the humanities.
- Creation of a Faculty Teaching/Learning Center to serve as a focal
point for faculty and staff technology training and development, and
expanding the college's multimedia capabilities.
