Child Care *

I understand that child care will not be provided during New Student Orientation and I must make plans for child care as the Dallas County Community College District policy does not allow children, for their own safety, in classrooms.

Online Orientation Request: Students requesting to complete Orientation Online must qualify based on assessment scores in reading. You will receive a response to your request within 48 hours. After completing online orientation you will need to attend a scheduled group advising session.
Qualifying Scores: 1) TAKS: 2300 or higher in English Language Arts AND 3 or higher in writing. 2) SAT: 1070 or higher on verbal (reading) and math combined AND 500 or higher in reading. 3) ACT: 23 composite AND 19 or higher in reading.

Walk-in: You can attend a New Student Orientation marked as closed. In the event that space allows you will be able to complete your registration process at orientation; if space does not permit you will be asked to register for classes at another time.
