DCCCD processes and distributes refunds and disbursements (including financial aid funds) with the help of Higher One, a financial services vendor.
All DCCCD students receiving Financial Aid, waivers, student disbursements/payments have to request a DCCCD Money Card. Without the Card you will NOT
be able to choose a disbursement method.
To ensure that you receive your card, you are required to VERIFY MAILING ADDRESS INFORMATION
and set up an "activation word" on eConnect
(login required). For security reasons, you will also be required
to answer your Challenge Question
each time you access this screen.
After you verify your information and set up your "activation word", your card will arrive in the mail within 5-7 business days. If your card does not arrive within this time, you can use the “Where's My Card”
screen on eConnect to check on the status. You will be required to provide your last name, 'Student ID'
and "activation word." If you are unable to use this screen or have other questions regarding your card, please contact Higher One
