A career as a Vocational Nurse would fulfill all these needs and more!

The El Centro College Vocational Nursing Program is a 12-month, 54-credit-hour curriculum leading to a certificate of completion. This program prepares the Vocational Nurse graduate to work in the medical field as part of a team of dedicated medical professionals in hospitals, clinics, doctors' offices, and many other areas of health care.

A graduate of the program is eligible to take the NCLEX-PN examination to become a licensed vocational nurse (L.V.N.) within the guidelines set by the Board of Vocational Nursing.

The Vocational Nursing Program is accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission , 61 Broadway, New York City 33rd Floor, New York, NY 10006 and the Board of Vocational Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas, 333 Guadeloupe, Suite 3-400, Austin, Texas 78701.
