One of the most important services that the Rising Star Office provides is academic advising. Each Rising Star student is assigned to a specific advisor who is able to assist with services such as:
- Selecting a Degree Plan
- Course Mapping
- Career Guidance
- Goal Setting
- Registration
- DCCCD and Community Referrals
- Researching Colleges/Universities for Transfer
