Current Volunteer Opportunities
March 7th, 2009	Volunteers Needed at Las Llaves del Exito/Keys to Success Event!! Las Llaves del Exito/Keys to Success event. Las Llaves del Exito, a free one-day program, offers students the key to their success-- a college education and information about how to navigate the system so that they can attend a college or university. To sign up, please visit our website at www.dcccd.edu/keystosuccess and click on Volunteers. The sign up form will be available starting February 13th. Please sign up by March 3rd, 2009. This year the Spring 2008 Llaves/Keys event will be hosted at Cedar Valley College from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. We are targeting 500 students and parents. The Spring 2009 event will invite Juniors, Seniors, and Parents to participate in Hands-On Admissions and completing FAFSA forms, as well as, Higher Ed Information sessions. All Volunteers will receive a T-Shirt, lunch, and a Certificate of Appreciation. Volunteer jobs may include hall monitors, clean up, registration, and facilitators among other things. This is a great opportunity to give back to the Community and help many potential students enroll at a Dallas County Community College or University.
