Student Identification Cards

Student identification cards are used to assist students in obtaining access to services on campus (such as computer labs, testing center, gymnasium, library, etc.).

To receive an El Centro College Student ID card you must be enrolled in credit and/or non-credit classes and present your paid tuition receipt* and a form of photo identification.

The Student ID Card is FREE. There is a $10 replacement cost for subsequent cards. Students will have one ID card to use throughout their enrollment at El Centro College.

Student ID cards are made in Office of Student Life, Room B270.
Student ID Card Hours:
Monday - Thursday 8:30 am - 6:00 pm
Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

*Paid tuition receipts can be obtained from the Cashier’s window or by accessing eConnect.

Important Information Regarding Your Student ID

Your college ID is property of El Centro College and is your official college identification. Report a stolen card to College Police (located at A047 or call 214-860-2134). Students will have one ID card to use throughout their enrollment at El Centro College. Anyone who uses this card to give false information is subject to DCCCD discipline and appropriate criminal prosecution.

You need your student ID...

With you at all times on ECC campus
For use of campus facilities (Testing Center, Library, Computer Lab, Learning Center, Gymnasium, etc...)

If you lose your ID, you must...

Pay a $10.00 replacement fee at the Cashier’s Office A-244 (not the Office of Student Life)
Bring the Cashier’s receipt along with a copy of your current paid registration summary to Office of Student Life B-270 for a new ID.

NOTE: Your Student ID must be updated each semester by getting a semester sticker available only at Office of Student Life.
