How you Benefit The best of both worlds. Juniors and seniors at participating high schools can begin earning credit at El Centro College while earning credit toward your high school diploma. Your college tuition is waived. You can begin learning what you need to know to improve your success at a four-year college or university or you can begin preparing yourself to enter a high-paying career as early as the 12th grade. How dual credit works Step one: Talk to your high school counselor to see what college courses or programs are eligible and fit your schedule. El Centro offers a variety of courses for dual-credit students, including:
