Academic Advisement

Attention current students:
Get an early jump in registering for spring 2010.

Pre-Advisement Registration dates are from November 2 thru November 16, 2009. Advisors will be available to help you get a jump on the Spring 2010 semester.

Avoid long waiting lines and get a better selection of courses by participating in pre-advisement registration.

Note: All students who are eligible to register online through eConnect will be required to do so. If needed, advisors will be able to assist you with course planning afterwards, you will be directed to eConnect to register for classes. You can receive eConnect assistance by calling 214-860-2679 or stopping by our eConnect room (A150).

Registration for the spring semester begins November 17 for current students and November 23 for new students.

The mission of El Centro College Academic Advisement is to create meaningful advisor/student relationships that enable students to develop and achieve their educational and career goals.

On-line Registration is now available to current and former students who meet the following criteria:

Good academic standing
No active blocks
E-mail address on file with Admissions
Complete in all sections (reading, writing & math) of TSI; or TSI exempt or waived
If you meet the above criteria you will be strongly encouraged to register online.

Degrees

El Centro College offers a variety of different degree plans. The Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degrees are designed for students who plan to transfer to a 4-year college/university. Our many Associate in Applied Sciences degrees are developed for students who plan on immediately entering the work force.
