DCCCD Foundation Scholarships

The DCCCD Foundation, Inc. provides academic scholarships to eligible students with a 2.0 cumulative grade point average and who are enrolled in at least six credit hours per semester. Students must apply each semester. Awards vary based on student's enrollment level and availability of funds.

FinAid - FinAid was established in the fall of 1994 as a public service. This award-winning site has grown into the most comprehensive annotated collection of information about student financial aid on the Web.

FastWeb - FastWeb, the Internet's leading scholarship search service, helps students make the decisions that shape their lives: choosing a college, paying for college and finding jobs during and after college.

SallieMae - For more than a quarter-century, Sallie Mae has been helping students achieve their dreams of higher education by providing funds for educational loans, primarily federally guaranteed student loans originated under the Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP). The company currently owns or manages student loans for more than seven million borrowers and is the nation's leading provider of education loans.

FRESCH! - FreSch! has a database of over 2,000 organizations and foundations that offer scholarships, representing approximately 169,000 awards.

If you need money to help pay for your college expenses, you are encouraged to visit El Centro's Financial Aid Office, room A034 (Basement of A Building). Various funding sources are available including grants, scholarships, work-study and loans.
