Information Technology Society
The Information Technology Society was established to promote student interest in the growing field of Computer Science.
A business meeting is held each month, using an open forum format, to encourage discussion on computer science related topics.
A speaker is brought in to share his or her knowledge and insight. The speaker:
- supplies members with information about the most current methods
- assists members in solving their individual computer-related problems
- fosters a better understanding of the vital role of computer information systems in business and the proper relationship of computer information systems to management in the Computer Information Systems field
The Society also organizes outings to industry and computer related facilities and seminars.
The Society sponsors special events and contests and also holds various fund raisers throughout the year.
