RCE Accuplacer
Reading Comprehension Exam

This test is for students who are exiting Development Reading Sequence and ESOL.
  • Accuplacer reading

  • Exit exam for Developmental Reading students

  • Administered 8 times each year (test and retest included)

  • No other online testing is scheduled during the 3-day period when RCE is being administered.

  • Assessment Center staff responsibilities:
    • Receive a roster of students to be tested

    • Conduct sign-in procedure

    • Proctor the exams

    • Conduct sign-out procedure

    • Score
      • Provide students with scores

      • Data entry of scores into the Colleague system

  • InstitutionalResearch will forward scores from Colleague to the ReadingInstructional staff. The scores are then distributed to Developmentaland ESOL Reading faculty.
