This meeting will provide students with information regarding
the single parent support group. Students will be given the opportunity
to ask questions regarding support group processes and guidelines.
The group is designed to provide emotional support to single parents
who are making strides to achieve their educational goals.

HOW
DOES YOUR SELF-ESTEEM AFFECT YOUR DECISION-MAKING? --
This program provides the opportunity for participants to practice
decision making through group activities and role-play. The program
discusses assertiveness communication skills as important tools
for helping to express your decision-making and avoid peer pressure.
The relationship between self-esteem, decision-making and sexuality
will be discussed with activities designed to show how self-esteem
impacts lives.

DISORDERS IN CHILDREN --
Jessica Setnick, MS, RD/LD, is the founder of Understanding Nutrition,
a leading provider of nutrition counseling and education to the
Dallas, Texas community. She is recognized nationally as an expert
in treating eating disorders and childhood feeding problems. Take
advantage of this opportunity to share the philosophy, techniques
