Rising Star Club Information
During the summer we will have one club meeting a month. They
will be: Wednesday, May 14th at 1:30 in room A532
Wednesday, June 4th, at 1:30 in room A532
Wednesday, July 9th, at 1:30 in room A532
Wednesday, August 6th, at 1:30 in room A532
Summer Registration
Summer 1 classes begin June 2nd. Registration is going on right
now!! You may register for summer 1 and summer 2 at the same time.
If you are in developmental classes, don’t forget you must
take at least one developmental class if you plan on taking a college
level course.
Fall Registration
Fall registration will begin for continuing students June 10th
and new students June 16th. Start thinking about the classes you
would like to take next semester!
Financial Aid
Now is the time to do your FAFSA. If you need help with completing
the forms, please call and set up an appointment. Or you may also
go to www.fafsa.ed.gov and
complete your application online.
Rising Star Website
We have our own website up and running. You can visit it by typing
in http://www.elcentrocollege.edu/RisingStar
Or by going to the El Centro College website, clicking on Student
Services and then Rising Star.
CREX Class
If you graduated from high school in 2002 and have not enrolled
in a CREX class yet, you must take one this summer. To stay in the
Rising Star program, all students must complete CREX 1309 during
the first year of the program.
Congratulations Graduates!
If you are graduating this semester or in the summer, please let
our office know. We do not want to miss anyone. Or, if you are planning
to transfer to a four-year university or college in the fall, please
keep us informed.
