El Centro College Job Fairs     

Dates: Our Fall Job Fair will be held on September 16 and 17, 2008.  Setup begins at 8:00 am and doors will be open from 9 am to 1 pm.

Classes are ready to begin and many of our students will need jobs to stay in school.  This will be your opportunity to meet with them face-to-face and fill all of your part-time openings.

Registration:

Registration for this Job Fair is accomplished on a first come first served basis for approved employers. Download the Request Form (Microsoft Excel required to fill in form) and return it to us via e-mail. If accepted, a confirmation will be returned via e-mail. Please note that companies soliciting customers or business operators to provide a service or distribute a product may not participate in our Job Fair.

Registration Fee: - Waived!

Student Programs and Resources sponsor the Fall Job Fair. Recruiters will be provided with a continental breakfast, refreshments throughout the day, and a box lunch. There is no charge for this event, but a student representative may be assigned to "shadow" the recruiters during parts of the Job Fair. The student will provide a continental breakfast, drinks throughout the day, or a box lunch for up to two recruiters. In exchange, they will ask you to share your "top ten tips" to launch their new career. Please limit the number of recruiters to two per table at a time. If more than two recruiters at a time are needed, an extra table can be requested.

Setup Information:

Six foot tables with two chairs are provided. Setup begins at 8:00 am on each day of the Job Fair. Tables are assigned by one a first come first served basis. Power connections are not generally available and power cords are not provided. Parking is not provided. Employers may unload at the receiving dock on Elm St. but must move their vehicle off campus immediately.

Our Spring Job Fair featuring our program graduates will be on March 25 and 26, 2009.
