SQL SERVER MCDBA CERTIFICATION
MICROSOFT CERTIFIED DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR


In order to obtain the MCDBA certification, you must successfully pass 3 core exams and 1 elective exam.

 

Students must complete EACH of the following core MCDBA courses:

ITMC 1458 Supporting MS Win Client Network Operating Systems (Exam 70-270)
ITMC 1419 Installing and Administering MS Win Server Operating Systems (Exams 70-290)

ITMC 2403

Administering a Microsoft SQL Server Database (Exam 70-228)

ITMC 2437

Programming a Microsoft SQL Server Database (Exam 70-229)

ITMC 1403

Querying Microsoft SQL Server with Transact-SQL (Exam 70-229)

 

Students must then complete ONE MCDBA elective course from the following:

ITNW 1492

Planning and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Network Infrastructure (Exam 70-293)

 

El Centro's certificate and associate degree programs also allow the following as elective courses:
