MCAD FOR MICROSOFT.NET CERTIFICATION
MICROSOFT CERTIFIED APPLICATIONS DEVELOPER

In order to obtain the MCAD certification, you must successfully pass 2 core exams and 1 elective exam.
 
Students will select Visual Basic.NET or C# emphasis and must complete one of the following courses:
ITSE 1431 Introduction to Visual Basic Programming OR
ITSE 1422 Introduction to C Programming

Students are required to take the following courses:

ITSE 1356

Introduction to XML (Exam 70-310)

ITSE 1440

Mastering Distributed Application Design and Development Using Microsoft Visual Studio (VB Exam 70-305, C# Exam 70-315)

Students must then complete ONE MCDBA elective course from:

ITSE 1444

Mastering Microsoft Visual Basic Development (VB Exam 70-306) OR

ITSE 2405

Windows Programming (C# Exam 70-316)

 

El Centro certificate program also requires students to complete two of the following MCSD courses:

ITMC 1345

Enterprise Development Using Microsoft Visual Basic.NET (Exam 70-310) OR

ITSE 2450

Mastering Enterprise Development Using Microsoft.NET (Exam 70-310) OR

ITMC 1344

Enterprise Development using Microsoft.NET (Exam 70-320 combined with 70-310)

ITSE 1402

Computer Programming (Exam 7-320 combined with 70-310)
