Sharman Beasley directs the Program's cooperative work experience component, which is offered in 3-credit-hour courses.  In addition to working at least 15 hours a week doing paralegal activities at an assigned site, the student attends a weekly seminar conducted by Ms. Beasley.  Seminar topics include setting goals, balancing quality of life, time management, interview techniques and resume construction.

Supervision and evaluation are provided jointly by Ms. Beasley and by a supervisor individual at the work site.  Students also prepare a self-evaluation.
