MATH 1414 is also accepted for the college algebra requirement.

Science and Math coursework must be completed no longer than five (5) years previous to program admission.

Humanities/Fine Arts Elective - may be selected from the following Arts & Humanities courses:

• DRAM 1310 Introduction to the Theater
• HUMA 1301 Introduction to Humanities
• MUSI 1306 Music Appreciation
• PHIL 1301 Introduction to Philosophy

**SCIT 1407 formerly BIOL 1470 and SCIT 1408 formerly BIOL 1472. BIOL 1470/1472 accepted for SCIT 1407/1408 within five-year time limit. BIOL 1408 recommended prior to SCIT 1407 if no previous high school biology. BIOL 1407 is a required prerequisite for BIOL 2401.

DCMS 2450 contains the Capstone experience in the Echocardiology Technology Program.

A "C" grade or better is required in all courses. Students enrolling in this program who plan to transfer to a four-year institution should consult an advisor or counselor regarding transfer requirements and the transferability of these courses to the four-year institution of their choice.

Support courses may be completed before but NOT after the semester indicated.

NOTE: Support courses completed at colleges and universities outside the DCCCD must be approved for transfer credit prior to the semester in which the course is required according to the curriculum outline.
