Welcome to the new semester! The Associate Degree Nursing program at El Centro has received a contribution of $27,000 from the Tenet Healthcare Foundation. These funds will help support scholarships for currently enrolled nursing students who experience financial difficulties. The presentation was made at our clinical affiliate, Doctors Hospital in Garland. The DCCCD has signed a concurrent enrollment agreement with the UNTSystem Center in Dallas. This enables El Centro students who meet the University of North Texas admission requirements or completing the Associate of Arts/Science degree to be automatically admitted to the University of North Texas. A student may apply for concurrent admission status at the time of first enrollment at El Centro college or at any later time when enrolled at El Centro, by completing a UNT concurrent admissions application.
