CURRICULUM

The Perioperative Nurse Internship Program is a two semester, 13 credit hour program. Upon completion the nurse receives an Enhanced Skills Certificate.

PREREQUISITES
Nurses enrolled in this program must hold a current license from the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas, or be a graduate of a nursing program eligible for the next NCLEX-RN examination. They must also have a current CPR certification.
