Management Careers
Career Opportunities
Qualified supervisors and managers are vital in any effective organization. Since Dallas County is one of the fastest growing areas in the nation, the need here is acute.

Greater Dallas businesses aggressively seek well-trained men and women who are capable of assuming positions of management responsibly. Many positions are available in retailing, wholesaling, sales service, advertising, hotels and motels, financial institutions and insurance companies, supermarkets, restaurants, real estate firms, automobile dealers, petroleum markets, news media and industrial enterprises

Our Program
This business management program offers two options of study designed to develop the fundamental skills, knowledge, attitudes and experiences which enable men and women to function in decision-making positions as supervisors or junior executives. Successful completion of the program leads to an associate degree. Business Administration
Business Administration is designed for students seeking a broad program of study in all phases of business practices. This option focuses not only at the core of management (principles of management, organizational behavior, human resources) but also encompasses the critical areas of business operations (principles of marketing, accounting, business law). Management
The Management program provides an opportunity for students to acquire knowledge in the management field and at the same time update and sharpen personal management skills. In addition to learning about supervision, personnel management, human relations psychology, problem-solving, decision-making and other related business topics, students also participate in an on-the-job management training course with their present employers. These management training courses at work allow students to apply what is learned in the classroom environment and obtain the valuable practical experience necessary to become competent business managers. Thus, the Management program allows students the opportunity to bridge the gap between theory and practice as professional managers.
