Portfolio Submission and Artist’s Statement, 3.5 GPA min
The Visual Art Scholarship
Established in 2005 by the El Centro College Fine Arts Faculty and the Art Gallery, the purpose of the Visual Arts Scholarship is to support the educational objectives and artistic goals of El Centro College art students. The scholarship is supported through fundraisers organized by the El Centro College Art Gallery.
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.5; be an art major and currently enrolled in art classes; submit a statement of intention; and submit a portfolio of artwork, along with complete required DCCCD Foundation applications.
The winners are chosen by a jury that includes the gallery director and art faculty.
