The El Centro College digital lab is equipped with the latest technology and software programs. The lab is located in C314, 3rd Floor of the C building. The lab contains a large Epson 10600 printer along with a color HP printer and six scanners. The Epson 10600 printer has the capacity to print on vinyl, canvas and fine art paper. It can print up to 44” wide. There is a vinyl cutter. The lab contains fifteen computer workstations and an instructor sympodium interactive lectern. There are digital cameras available to the students to check out for art projects. The computers have the following software: Adobe Illustrator, Corel Painter & Draw, and Flash. Students are encouraged to explore the convergence point of traditional art and digital art.
