Health Careers and Legal Studies The Division of Health and Legal Studies is home to some of El Centro College's most dynamic programs, leading to many different rewarding careers in the nursing and allied health professions as well as the Paralegal profession. The El Centro Paralegal Studies Program is the only community college paralegal program in the North Central Texas area that is approved by the American Bar Association. We can answer many questions you may have about the wide variety of career opportunities available to you through these programs. We also have non-credit course opportunities in Health Occupations through our Continuing Education Department. El Centro College is accredited by the Commission of Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, and is a member of the American Association of Community Colleges, the Association of Texas Colleges and Universities, and the League for Innovation in the Community College. Paramount Computer and Testing Lab
The Paramount Computer and Testing Lab, located in the Paramount building room P112, contains many of the latest multimedia learning resources available. Students also have free Internet and e-mail access, as well as Microsoft Office software.
