The Medical Laboratory Technology program is a 72-credit-hour curriculum which prepares the student to perform tests and related duties in the medical laboratory. The program is a balanced curriculum of science, liberal arts, and technical courses including didactic and clinical education. Upon completion of the program, the student is awarded an Associate of Allied Science Degree and is qualified to take the Board of Registry for the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) for the Clinical Laboratory Technician credential.
