The sections above are hybrid courses. This course is designed for healthcare providers and professional rescuers. Lifesaving skills of respiratory and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children, and infants. Following American Heart Association guidelines. An American Heart Association card will be awarded upon successful completion of the course. This course fulfills the requirements for entry into several Health Occupations programs (ADN, Respiratory Care, Radiography, etc.) and health courses in Continuing/Workforce Education. You will complete the required 4.5 hours for in the CPR lab, basic information to prepare you for class will be available on eCampus. You must have a valid email address on file for eCampus. |

This class is for individuals who have completed the didactic portion of the recertification course directly through the American Heart Association Web Site and are in need of a skills check-off only. Upon completion of the online component, students will make a one-hour appointment for skills check off at El Centro College. You must bring proof of didactic portion done online to recertification appointment. Contact Registration at 214-860-2260 for dates available for skills-check off. |
